Eastern View to Moggs Creek: Approximately 8 kms, June 26. Car shuffle required.
This medium to hard walk follows some of Walk 14 in Walking the Otways and is mostly on old 4wd tracks, but it is quite steep at the start and involves a section not on a defined track.
We will start at the Memorial Arch, sidle along Spout Creek admiring the steep slope into the creek passing through relatively open bushland. After joining Coalmine Track, we will walk to Moggs Track and continue along this through open forest to the Moggs Creek picnic area.
Meet at Aireys Inlet Community Centre Car Park at 9.30 and bring morning tea, lunch and water. Walking poles are recommended.
