Friends of Pt Addis Marine National Park Inc is an independent local group and its statement of purposes is:
- To provide support for and foster awareness of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) within the Surf Coast.
- To assist with special projects selected by the Group in consultation with Parks Victoria.
- To bring into contact people with an interest in MPAs within the Surf Coast.
- To support the effective conservation of native flora and fauna, geological and cultural heritage in Victoria.
